BHOPAL (2N) - PACHMARHI (2N) - JABALPUR (1N) -KANHA (2N)
DAY 01: BHOPAL
On your arrival in Bhopal, you are greeted by our tour representative. The representative guides you on the journey henceforth. You check in to your hotel room, relax and leave for sightseeing in Bhopal. The major highlight today is the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Museum, the only museum having painted rock shelters. In the evening, you visit Gauhar Mahal; this building dates back to 1816 and belongs to the Nawabs of Bhopal; and Chowk Bazaar, lined up with Havelis and bazaars. By late evening, you return back to the hotel room and stay overnight.
DAY 02: BHOPAL – BHOJPUR – BHIMBETIKA – BHOPAL (125 KMS)
After breakfast, get ready for a day-long excursion as we hit the road to Bhojpur & Bhimbetika. Bhojpur temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva built in 11 Century AD by Raja Bhoj. It is often referred to as “Somnath of the East. The Shivlinga in this temple is 7.5 ft high and 18 ft. circumference and is the largest stone structure in the world carved from a single rock. This Shivlinga is placed on a 21 ft. high platform. Later proceed to Bhimbetika Caves- A UNESCO World Heritage site. These caves were accidentally discovered by renowned archaeologist Dr. Vishnu Wakankar in 1957-58 when he was leisurely strolling in the area. These caves are stocked with paintings dating back to Palaeolithic and Medieval ages and are still intact even after more than 30000 years of their existence. Drive back to Bhopal for overnight stay.
DAY 03: BHOPAL – PACHMARHI
This morning, you take a transfer to your next destination, Pachmarhi. Drive towards Pachmarhi, which is located at a distance of 200 km. On reaching, check into the hotel. After you take some rest, leave for sightseeing. Visit Bee Fall, Fairy Pool, Handi Khoh and Dhoopgarh. In the evening, you can visit the Padmini Lake and enjoy boating, horse ride or camel ride. Later, return to the hotel and have a comfortable stay at night.
DAY 04: PACHMARHI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast the day is scheduled for sightseeing, amidst the natural beauty of Pachmarhi. You visit the most popular attractions of Pachmarhi such as Priyadarshini (Forsyth Point) – around 5 km from the town this popular view point offers stunning views of the surroundings along with memorable sunset views; Bee Fall- a 35 m high popular waterfall, it is ideal for nature-lovers; Handi Khoh- a huge ravine with thick woodland and a cliff of 300 feet which is known to have connection with Lord Shiva and Fairy pool- also known as Apsara Vihar- it is a small waterfall (30 feet high) and a naturally formed pool. In the evening, explore the local market of the place. Here you can get your hands on some wonderful tribal craft items, made by the local Gond and Bastar tribes. Do not forget to try local cuisine dishes and savor their lip-smacking flavour. Overnight in Pachmarhi.
DAY 05: PANCHMARHI – JABALPUR
Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Jabalpur. Upon arrival, set off for a sightseeing trip to Marble Rocks at Bhjedaghat via boat ride. Stay overnight in the hotel.
DAY 06: JABALPUR – KANHA (175 KMS / 4 HRS)
Arrive Jabalpur airport and upon arrival meet with our representative and drive to Kanha. On arrival check into Hotel / Resort. Rest of the day free for acclimatization. Overnight stay at Resort.
