DAY 1: BANGKOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SHARED ARRIVAL (SIC) TRANSFER TO HOTEL IN BANGKOK
As a first time visitor to Thailand after a long haul flight why not enjoy taking a shuttle service to give you peace of mind instead of getting carried away by the hectic atmosphere of a busy airport and the demanding taxi drivers. DAY 2: THE FULL DAY LANDMARK OF BANGKOK
Pick up from hotel with private transfer by Mercedes Benz E-Class or Toyota Camry as your choice. Visit to Wat Traimitr (Temple of the Golden Buddha) this is the world’s largest solid gold Buddha, cast about nine centuries ago. The image is three meters high and weighs five and half tons. Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) it is Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple. The gigantic gold plated reclining Buddha with inlaid mort he-of-pearl soles is highly revered among Buddhists. Visit Royal Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha: This city landmark should be the first place on any visitor’s itinerary, which features some of the most spectacular architecture in South East Asia. The palace begun in 1782. It is a consisting of several building with highly decorated architectural designs. Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha) the magnificent Royal Chapel, Wat Phra Kaeo in the same compound enshrines the Emerald Buddha Image, most revered by people. Lunch at restaurant. Cross Chao Phraya River by boat to visit Wat Arun. (Temple of Dawn) The most attractive in this temple is the pagoda Khmer-style. Wat arun was restored during brief Thonburi period to be the Royal Chapel of King Taksin. At the end of tour will be visit to local product store. DAY 3: BANGKOK – PHUKET (BY AIR)
After breakfast you will be transferred to Suvarnabhumi Airport from where you will catch your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival in Phuket, you will be met by your guide and will transfer from Phuket Airport to your hotel. Overnight in Phuket.
DAY 4: FULL-DAY PHUKET CITY DISCOVERY TOUR (6 HRS)
Be picked up from your hotel at approximately 10:45am and proceed toward Wat Chalong Temple. Learn a lot about Buddhism in this temple complex with its many statues, the most prominent being Poh Than Jao Wat. One of the temple’s halls features a gilt-covered statue of Luang Poh Cham. The busy hall also contains the statues of Luang Poh Chuang and Luang Poh Gleum. After spending some peaceful time in Wat Chalong, take to the streets which have some of the best architectural fusion in the world, Old Phuket town. Be amazed by the architecture which is a reflection of European influence on the island. Europeans, including the Portuguese and the British, had been interested in Phuket’s tin wealth since the 16th century. Get jaw-dropping panoramic views of the city at your third stop, the Rung Hill viewpoint. Rang Hill provides an alternative to beaches of Phuket with a pleasant place to cool down in the shade of its pavilions and stately trees. One can view the forest landscape on one side and the bustling city on other. You can try out some delicious Thai cuisines at Tung Ka Cafe (at own expense). One simply cannot miss-out on Phuket’s pearl factory, the authentic source of the pearls which adorn crowns of celebrities and beauty queens of various pageants. Learn about the production process of Pearls, from oyster to the final product, and also differentiate from real and fake pearls. Finally, pickup some souvenirs for folks back home and for your own home. After a day of exploring the Phuket island you will be dropped off back at your hotel at approximately 4:30pm.
DAY 5: DAY TRIP TO JAMES BOND ISLAND BY PREMIUM SPEEDBOAT FROM PHUKET (8 HRS)
Begin your day with an 8am pick-up from your Phuket hotel and a transfer to the pier, where you can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks as you await the rest of your group. Around 10am, set sail aboard a speedboat and gaze out across the Andaman Sea as you cruise out around Phang Nga Bay. Stop to snap photos of the dramatic sea cliffs as you cruise past Koh Panak Island, and then continue to Hong Island for a thrilling sea canoeing tour. Accompanied by your guide, paddle your way around the island’s unusual rock formations, limestone caves and hidden lagoons. Back on the speedboat, it’s time for the day’s star attraction – a cruise around Khao Ping Gan (Leaning Rock), better known as ‘James Bond Island’. Get your camera ready as you spot the famous Ko Tapu, the 66-foot (20-meter) limestone rock that featured as Scaramanga’s hideaway in ‘The Man With the Golden Gun’. Pause for a delicious buffet lunch in the fishing village of Ko Panyi, then take a tour of the traditional island, with its stilted houses and colourful fishing boats. Stop to take a peek inside the Ice Cream and Diamond caves, en-route to the final stop of the day, Naka Noi island. Enjoy free time to swim and sunbathe on the beach, or try fun activities such as Jet Skiing or banana boating (extra cost), before setting sail back to Phuket. Finally arrive back at the pier, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
DAY 6: PRIVATE DEPTURE FROM PHUKET
Enjoy buffet breakfast at the hotel / resort. Check out of the hotel. Transfer to Phuket International Airport on private basis for your onward flight back home.
